Essex Ladies and Men were again in action last week 19 – 23 July. The Men were back on the Eastbourne grass courts in division 1 and the Essex Ladies played in division 2 at Great Gloucestershire Park, Cheltenham. Both teams had tough matches with the Men finishing in fourth place and the ladies in fifth. Both teams showed enormous efforts, great team spirit and high quality tennis. A special mention must go to the Mens Player of the week Henry Patten. This award is presented in memory of our good friend and Essex Captain Jamie Willson.
