Development Programme

David Wright, who not only captains a number of County Junior Teams, but has represented the County at both Junior and Open levels runs this programme via local clubs and coaches.

The Development Programme is aimed at Under 8’s who will not necessarily have played tennis before, but have an aptitude for the game.  During March and April Development days will be held in 5 locations across Essex and children from both clubs and local schools will be invited to attend.  The local team of coaches will asses the players and those showing the potential will be invited to attend Development Squads which will run monthly from April to September.

Development players may then be invited to the Junior Talent ID Days which are run in September/October each year.
